Dr Kate McKenzie completed her Bachelor of Medicine in 2010 at the University of Tasmania. Kate then joined the Royal Australian Air
Force (RAAF) in 2010, where she trained in aviation medicine and was deployed to the Middle East. Kate became a fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016. 


Kate has a special interest in sports medicine, and complex and chronic disease management. Kate has an integrative style of practice and likes to focus on nutrition and preventative health.


When she's not treating patients, Kate is running, bushwalking, rock climbing, cooking and reading.

Aviation medicals

Dr Kate McKenzie is experienced providing Aviation Medical Examinations which are required for all commercial pilots and air force personnel yearly, two yearly or four yearly, depending on a pilot’s age and class.


Patients must complete the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) registration form on the Medical Records System (MRS) website prior to attending their appointment.

Aviation Medicals and associated specialist and pathology tests are not covered by Medicare.
