We are now offering mums and bubs consults to support new mum's and their babies.


Qualified midwives Maddie and Sam are warm and encouraging practitioners who are passionate about providing mum's with friendly, helpful advice to support them through late pregnancy, birth and the early months of parenting.

Maddie O'Connor

RN, Midwife, IBCLC

Registered Nurse, Midwife, IBCLC lactation consultant

Maddie completed her Masters of Nursing, specialising in paediatrics, at the University of Sydney 2011. In 2015 she was awarded a scholarship to undertake midwifery training at Charles Sturt University. 


In 2019 Maddie attained her qualification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) which gives her in-depth training in breastfeeding advice.

International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC’s) or Lactation Consultants, are certified professionals recognised internationally as experts in assisting mothers with establishing and sustaining breast feeding, even in the midst of difficulties.

Certified lactation consultants have extensive clinical experience and advanced lactation education.  They can help with any breastfeeding issues including complex situations, high-risk babies, oral assessment and more.


Maddie is passionate about supporting mum's through their pregnancies and into the post partum period. Maddie takes a holistic approach to her practice, considering all aspects of the mother and newborn, including the role of partners and family in the motherhood journey.

In her spare time, Maddie enjoys reading, travelling and eating pasta!

Samantha Ransley

RN, Midwife

Registered Nurse, Midwife

Sam completed her Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Tasmania in 2012. In 2016, she was awarded a scholarship to undertake midwifery training at UTS, specialising in perinatal mental health. 

Sam is currently undertaking training to become accredited as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.


Sam has worked across all areas of midwifery, including undertaking a role as a clinical midwifery educator. Sam is passionate about the importance of education and knowledge to support and empower women in their journey through pregnancy birth and mother hood.


Sam has a special interest in perinatal mental health and practices a holistic and personalised approach to her work with women and families.

In her spare time, Sam enjoys going to dance classes, swimming at the beach, cooking with friends and crocheting baby clothes!
