Accessing the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at Bondi Doctors

We are currently offering the Pfizer vaccine in dedicated COVID-19 vaccination clinics throughout the week.

Once you have joined the watilist, you will be contacted by secure SMS with a link to book your appointment when your vaccine has arrived. Please read further information below.


How to join the reservation list for a COVID-19 vaccine:

The video below takes you through the step-by-step process of joining the reservation list for your COVID-19 vaccine. 

Please note: Families wishing to reserve vaccines for multiple eligible family members must join the Reservation List individually for each family member. 

Who can access the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine under phase 1b?

Initially the Pfizer vaccine will be available to:

  1. Patients aged 16 years - 39 years who are eligible under phase 1b and hold a valid Medicare card; and,

  2. Patients aged 40 - 59 years who hold a valid Medicare card. 

  3. Pregnant women who hold a valid Medicare card.

If you are aged 16 years - 39 years and are eligible under phase 1b, or you are pregnant but are not a regular patient at Bondi Doctors, you are required to bring documentation with you that proves your eligibility. This may include a health summary, letter from a specialist or letter from employer. 

Please note that if you do not bring proof of your eligibility with you, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to receive a vaccination at that time.

Am I eligible to access the Pfizer vaccine under phase 1b?

If you are aged 16 to 39 years old you are eligible if you are a:

  • Quarantine and border worker

  • Aged and disability care worker

  • Disability care resident

  • Frontline healthcare worker

  • Other healthcare worker

  • Household contact of quarantine and border workers

  • Critical and high risk worker

  • Traveller with a travel exemption

  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people

  • Person with an underlying medical condition

  • Other eligible individual

How do I confirm my eligibility?

If you are aged 18y - 39y you will need to provide documentation to verify your eligibility under Phase 1b. 


​If you are an existing Bondi Doctors patient

We will be able to review your medical history to confirm your health status.

If you are eligible under another category, you will need to supply proof of employment, or a letter from your employer. 

If you are NOT a Bondi Doctors patient

You will need to bring a copy of your MyHealth Record/Health Summary, or a letter from your GP confirming your underlying medical condition.

If you are eligible under another category, you will need to supply proof of employment, or a letter from your employer.

Can I have my second dose at Bondi Doctors if I had my first somewhere else?


If you had your first dose of Pfizer elsewhere, you are not able to have your second dose at Bondi Doctors. You must return to the clinic you originally had your first dose at, or at a Commonwealth-run vaccination hub. 

Non Medicare card holders

If you don't have Medicare, you can still access the COVID-19 vaccine free of charge. Non Medicare card holders are required to access the vaccine at a public vaccination site. The closest alternative is the Bondi Junction Respiratory clinic.

You can access the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at a range of locations including those listed below. 

  • St Vincent’s Hospital COVID-19 Vaccination Centre

  • RPA COVID-19 Vaccination Centre

  • Royal North Shore Hospital COVID-19 Vaccination Centre
