ANNE MARIE MARTIN

Clinical Psychologist

Anne Marie is a warm and committed clinical psychologist with a strong belief in human resilience and the capacity for meaningful change. She has completed a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical). Anne Marie brings extensive experience from working across diverse and challenging settings, including sexual assault and child protection services, the Royal Australian Air Force, and the justice system.

Anne Marie's approach is grounded in the understanding that life experiences can be unexpected and sometimes traumatic, but that with the right skills and support, people can build effective and valuable lives.

She works collaboratively with clients to develop new perspectives, manage difficult emotions, strengthen communication and interpersonal skills, and navigate both everyday mental health challenges and the aftermath of serious trauma.

Anne Marie tailors her work to each person's unique needs. She is genuinely invested in supporting her clients' journey towards resilience, healing, and living a life that matters to them.

She keeps her life balanced by walking (with or without her dog), cooking and completing small house renovation projects.

Treatment Approaches: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based Approaches and Trauma-informed Care
