ROBBY FULLERTON

Clinical Psychologist

Robby completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Boston College in the US. He went on to complete a Master of Science in Psychology and Dual Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical and Industrial-Organisational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. He has worked in a variety of treatment settings, including a crisis centre, university counselling centre, drug and alcohol treatment centre, grief charity, and several years in private practice.
 
Robby is passionate about helping others and creating an inviting, safe space for deep exploration and reflection. He builds collaborative partnerships with clients based on respect for their autonomy, compassion for their challenges, and belief in their personal strengths. Robby has supported a broad range of clients presenting with diverse mental health, behavioural, and emotional difficulties.

Drawing upon his extensive experience, Robby is dedicated to developing a shared understanding of clients’ operative issues and finding solutions that are practical and enduring.

 
In his time off, Robby enjoys playing in the park with his golden Labrador, watching films, cooking, travelling, and scuba diving.

Treatment Approaches: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (PDT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Schema Therapy (ST).
