Sam completed her Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Tasmania in 2012. In 2016, she was awarded a scholarship to undertake midwifery training at UTS, specialising in perinatal mental health.
Most recently, Sam completed her training to become accredited as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
Sam has worked across all areas of midwifery, including undertaking a role as a clinical midwifery educator. Sam is passionate about the importance of education and knowledge to support and empower women in their journey through pregnancy birth and motherhood.
Sam has a special interest in perinatal mental health and practices a holistic and personalised approach to her work with women and families.
In her spare time, Sam enjoys going to dance classes, swimming at the beach and cooking with friends.
