SHIRLEY TANG

Clinical Psychologist

Shirley is a warm and approachable clinical psychologist passionate about supporting people of all ages to live a meaningful life. With particular expertise in trauma-informed care, she empowers clients to move beyond surviving towards thriving.
 
Shirley has developed extensive experience working across diverse settings including supporting neurodiverse children and NDIS participants, university and research clinics, Lifeline, private practices, and community mental health teams.
 
She works collaboratively, flexibly, and creatively, tailoring her approach to suit each client's unique needs. Her philosophy is grounded in the belief that safe, supportive relationships are crucial for healing.


Treatment Approaches: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-based approaches, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT), and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E)
